The state’s boys ice hockey teams now know their road to Yale University.

The CIAC released the state tournament brackets Friday with two of the three local teams making it into their respective brackets.

WMRP qualified for the Division II state tournament and have the No. 9 seed after finishing its season with a 15-5 record. The Eagles will take on No. 8 E.O. Smith (15-5) at UConn’s hockey arena on Monday at 6:45 p.m.

Should WMRP win, it would most likely face No. 1 Watertown-Pomeraug (15-3-2) on Saturday.

Over in Division III, Newington-Berlin secured the No. 3 seed after it finished its season 15-5. The Indians host No. 14 Trinity Catholic (5-15) at Newington Arena on Monday at 8:10 p.m.

If Newington-Berlin wins, it will face the winner of the No. 11 Staples/ No. 6 Tri-Town game on Thursday.
