It’s easy to admire Athena for her beauty, but she’s got a sweet personality to match. This 10-year-old tortoiseshell kitty has received veterinary care for the past month at the Connecticut Humane Society in Newington and is now ready for her new home.

She must be an indoor kitty and is on a special diet to give her kidneys a boost in her senior years.

Athena spent a short amount of time with some kiddos before arriving at CHS and may be good with youngsters of any age as long as they are gentle and respectful of pets.

She’s even open to a furry sibling. Interested in Athena or another CHS pet? Visit CThumane.org/adopt. An online application can be found in each pet’s profile.

CHS is a private organization with locations in Newington, Waterford and Westport and the reduced-fee Fox Memorial Clinic for owned pets, and is not affiliated with the government or any other animal welfare organizations.

CHS’ work is made possible 100% through the generosity of donors.
