Newington police report the following:

Esclastico Gonzalez, 51, 48 Shuttle Meadow Ave., New Britain, was charged on Feb. 25 with fifth-degree larceny.

Joseph Yankiewicz, 62, 50 Middletown Ave., East Hampton, was charged on Feb. 25 with possession of controlled substance and second-degree breach of peace.

Shelbi Smith, 35, 15 Burnham St., Hartford, was charged on Feb. 24 with conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and sixth-degree larceny.

Matthew J. Madley, 39, 16 Hill Side Lane, Wallingford, was charged on Feb. 24 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, failure to drive in proper lane and possession of a controlled substance.

Eddie Perez-Echevarria, 57, 108 Orange St., second floor, Meriden, was charged on Feb. 27 with second-degree breach of peace.

Michael Diaz, 28, 48 Plum Tree Road, Plainville, was charged on Feb. 27 with first-degree criminal trespass and violation of protective order.

Becky Terese Switzer, 45, 17 Oak St., New Britain, was charged on Feb. 27 with sixth-degree larceny.

Nicholas Colon, 18, 55 Conttonwood Road, Newington, was charged on Feb. 24 with use of drug paraphernalia and non-student selling drugs near school/daycare.
