Milo is a 1-year-old Australian Shepherd who would like to live in a single family home.

Milo’s behavior is very typical for his breed, so Milo needs an active family that has herding dog experience. Keeping Milo busy will be most important, as he is a high energy kind of dog.

Milo wants to live with dog savvy kids over age 15, and although he has had little experience with other dogs, he may be willing to consider sharing his home with a canine. Milo does need a cat-free home. This pup is still learning and wants to get off to a great start in his new home, so Milo will need to continue his training at CHS. (Obedience training required).

Milo does have some special needs but still has lots of life to live and love to give. Please ask the adoption counselor to explain when you visit with Milo.

Remember, the Connecticut Humane Society has no time limits for adoption.
