Cane is looking for love! He is currently staying at our Newington Care Center.

Cane is an FIV positive cat so he either needs to be the only indoor kitty in the home OR he can live with other FIV positive kitties.

Cane has not had much experience with children but he is willing to consider sharing his home with kids who can be gentle and respectful of pets. Cane may also consider sharing his home with a furry friend, although he has not had experience living with other cats or with dogs.

This is a quiet and reserved kitty that would prefer a quiet spot to snooze in a more peaceful home. Remember, the Connecticut Humane Society has no time limits for adoption.

Inquiries for adoption should be made at the Connecticut Humane Society located at 701 Russell Road in Newington or call toll free: 1-800-452-0114.

The Connecticut Humane Society is a private organization with adoption centers in Newington, Waterford and Westport. The Connecticut Humane Society is not affiliated with any other animal welfare organizations on the national, regional or local level.
