This little princess is Daisy. Daisy, 7 years old, lives by the motto, “Though she be but little, she is fierce,” and for Daisy this means that even though she is less than five pounds she can still take on the world.

During her stay at CHS, Daisy has become quite fond of some of our staff, but she still needs help learning how to trust folks in general.

The easiest way to win Daisy over is with her favorite snack, which is hot dogs. Our tiny girl is ready for a new family, but they will need to be patient while she learns to trust them.

If you have experience with small Chihuahuas that are similar to Daisy, please let us know and come and meet with an adoption counselor at our Newington branch of CHS. Daisy will be here waiting.

Remember, the Connecticut Humane Society has no time limits for adoption.

Inquiries for adoption should be made at the Connecticut Humane Society located at 701 Russell Road in Newington or call toll free: 1-800-452-0114.

The Connecticut Humane Society is a private organization with adoption centers in Newington, Waterford and Westport.

The Connecticut Humane Society is not affiliated with any other animal welfare organizations on the national, regional or local level.
