Halloween wasn’t just for the grandchildren this year; members of the Newington Senior & Disabled Center came to lunch on Halloween morning in costumes.

Party organizers Ann Garbiel and Mary-Ann Wilke put on quite the show for the crowd, handing out bags of treats and giving out awards for the best costumes.

Yvette Falconeri’s daughter dyed her mother’s hair pink for the occasion and helped her create a whimsical fairy godmother outfit.

“I will grant three wishes,” Falconeri said with a big smile.
