Dupra struggles again as New Britain Bees blown out by Revolution

YORK, Pa. - The New Britain Bees were just getting hot and riding a three game win streak.

However, the York Revolution figured out the Bees after suffering two losses to begin the series.

New Britain starting pitcher Brian Dupra struggled mightily, which led to the 13-4 loss for the Bees.

The Revolution lineup had 17 hits in the game and torched Dupra for seven earned runs. As a team York ripped six doubles and had three long balls.

In relief of Dupra, Brandon Shimo and Brandon Fry allowed a combined six earned runs. The New Britain pitching staff walked seven Revolution batters.

York received four scoreless innings from its bullpen.

Jordan Hinshaw and Craig Maddox each had two hits for the Bees. Hinshaw drove in a pair of runs. As a team, New Britain only had eight hits in the game.

Seven of the York’s batters had multi-hit performances in the game. For the Bees, Mike Hepple threw two scoreless innings in the eighth and ninth.

New Britain will conclude the four-game series against York on Sunday at 1 p.m.
