If elected, I hope to keep taxes competitive with surrounding towns, while maintaining our current level of services for all residents; growing our grand list by encouraging smart redevelopment to help relieve residents of increasing property taxes; and providing adequate funding to allow our schools to grow through the 21st century. I grew up in Newington, went to Newington schools and raised my family here, so it is important to me to listen to residents and colleagues, appreciate their thoughtful contributions and give them the respect and honesty they deserve, and I am committed to bringing a cooperative spirit to the Town Council and doing what is best for the Town of Newington
