NEW BRITAIN – The CCSU women’s basketball team’s games against Bryant this week have been postponed, the school announced this weekend.

The Blue Devils’ games against the Bulldogs, scheduled for Monday and Wednesday at 4 p.m., were rescheduled due to a positive covid-19 case within Bryant’s Tier 1 personnel.

Those games have been rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 9 and Wednesday, Feb. 10. Game times are still to be determined.

The postponements will now leave CCSU without a game in over a month, as its next scheduled game is on the road at Mount St. Mary’s on Saturday, Jan. 23, and its last game was back on Dec. 20, a 77-56 win over Fairleigh Dickinson.

The Blue Devils are 2-2 on the season, and are now scheduled to have just four games in January. They have nine on the slate for February, including seven in a two-week span beginning on Feb. 4.
